From Milestones to Meaning: A Journey Inward

My journey didn’t begin in a therapy room. It began in boardrooms, corporate meetings, and a world driven by performance metrics. Raised by a single mother after losing my father early in life, I learned resilience young. I also learned that surviving emotionally is not the same as healing emotionally.

For over 12 years, I built a successful career in Corporate Banking. On the surface, everything looked “right” — leadership roles, professional recognition, and a predictable path forward. But inside, there was a quiet dissonance — a feeling that I had achieved success without ever truly arriving at meaning.

That quiet voice eventually became a calling I couldn’t ignore.

Choosing Depth Over Definition

Leaving a thriving corporate career wasn’t easy. But it was necessary. I returned to academia, pursuing a second Master’s in Psychology — not for a title, but for alignment. I wanted to understand human stories not just from the outside, but from within. Today, as a therapist, my work is rooted in the belief that healing is not about fixing what’s broken, but rediscovering what’s whole.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship pain, grief, or simply feeling unanchored — therapy with me is a space where your inner world is held with care, clarity, and respect.

My Approach to Therapy

I integrate evidence-based practices with a deeply human lens — blending the science of psychology with the art of attunement. I am aware of my privileges being a cis-het male and allow myself to be conscious of the impact of caste, color and social norms on diverse population.

I Specialise in

Internal Family Systems (IFS), developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, views the mind as a family of different “parts,” each with its own role, emotions, and protective intentions. At the core of every person is the Self—a calm, compassionate, and confident inner leader capable of healing wounded parts. Rather than fighting difficult emotions, IFS helps you understand and transform them with curiosity and self-compassion. It is particularly effective for trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, low self-worth, and fostering lasting personal growth.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), developed by Dr. Steven C. Hayes, helps people build psychological flexibility by changing how they relate to difficult thoughts and emotions. Instead of struggling to eliminate discomfort, ACT encourages acceptance, mindfulness, and actions guided by your personal values. This approach helps reduce avoidance, overthinking, and self-criticism while creating a richer, more meaningful life. ACT is widely used for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, chronic pain, perfectionism, and navigating life transitions with greater resilience and purpose.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), developed by Dr. Aaron T. Beck, is one of the most researched and effective psychotherapy approaches. It is based on the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence one another. CBT helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. Through practical tools and structured exercises, clients learn lifelong coping skills that improve emotional wellbeing. CBT is highly effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, stress, and low self-esteem.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro, is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process traumatic and distressing memories. Using guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, EMDR enables painful experiences to be reprocessed so they lose their emotional intensity. Rather than erasing memories, it reduces their impact and supports healthier emotional responses. EMDR is widely recognised for treating trauma, PTSD, childhood adversity, grief, phobias, and other distressing life experiences.

LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Care is an inclusive, evidence-based therapeutic approach that recognises and affirms diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Rather than viewing LGBTQIA+ identities as problems to be fixed, affirmative therapy creates a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their experiences authentically. Therapy may focus on identity exploration, coming out, relationships, family dynamics, minority stress, discrimination, trauma, anxiety, depression, or self-acceptance. My approach is queer-affirmative, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and committed to supporting clients in living with authenticity, resilience, and dignity.
