Clinical Psychologist

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care. I believe that meaningful change begins when individuals feel truly seen, heard, and understood in a safe and supportive environment.

With formal training in Clinical Psychology (M.Phil.) and diverse clinical experience across hospital and private practice settings, I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. I have conducted psychotherapies and psychological assessments for adults, adolescents, and children, helping them better understand themselves and move toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to each individual’s needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic principles, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I collaborate with clients to develop deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

My clinical experience includes working as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Perfect Mind Clinic and Moolchand Hospital, along with extensive training at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Fortis Healthcare, and Government Medical College, Chandigarh. Through these experiences, I have worked in multidisciplinary settings and supported individuals across a wide range of mental health concerns.

I also have a strong interest in trauma and dissociative experiences, and have presented research on adverse childhood experiences and their psychological impact. Alongside clinical work, I value community engagement and have contributed to volunteer initiatives supporting underserved populations.

I am deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences openly. Therapy, for me, is a collaborative process—one that moves at your pace while gently working toward meaningful and sustainable growth.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking clarity, therapy can be a space to begin that journey. I would be glad to support you.

I Specialise in

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), developed by Dr. Aaron T. Beck, is one of the most researched and effective psychotherapy approaches. It is based on the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence one another. CBT helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. Through practical tools and structured exercises, clients learn lifelong coping skills that improve emotional wellbeing. CBT is highly effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, stress, and low self-esteem.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), developed by Dr. Marsha M. Linehan, is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. DBT combines acceptance with meaningful change, teaching practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. It is particularly effective for people experiencing emotional dysregulation, self-harm urges, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic stress. By learning these evidence-based skills, clients build resilience, respond more effectively to life’s challenges, and create a more balanced, fulfilling, and emotionally stable life.

Schema Therapy, developed by Dr. Jeffrey E. Young, is an integrative, evidence-based approach that helps identify and heal deeply rooted emotional patterns, known as schemas, that often develop during childhood or adolescence. These patterns can influence relationships, self-esteem, emotional wellbeing, and coping behaviours throughout adulthood. By combining elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and experiential techniques, Schema Therapy helps individuals understand the origins of these patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others. It is particularly effective for personality disorders, chronic emotional difficulties, trauma, relationship issues, and longstanding life patterns.

Couple Therapy provides a supportive and structured space for partners to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and navigate conflicts with greater understanding and empathy. My approach integrates evidence-based principles from the Gottman Method, Emotion Focused Therapy (Dr. Sue Johnson), and Attachment Theory to help couples rebuild trust, manage recurring conflicts, heal after betrayal, and deepen emotional connection. Whether you’re dating, engaged, married, or considering separation, therapy focuses on fostering healthier communication, emotional safety, shared understanding, and practical strategies that support a more fulfilling and resilient relationship.
