I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist who works primarily with adolescents and adults
navigating emotional, behavioural, relational, and life-related difficulties.
I see therapy as a collaborative and personalized process. Together, we make sense of the patterns that may be contributing to your distress—including your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationship dynamics—and explore practical ways of responding differently. My role is to offer guidance, support, and a safe space where you can better understand yourself and discover what may work for you.
Â
Therapy with me begins with building practical skills for coping and symptom management, while also
making space for deeper exploration. We can look at your personal history, the relationships that have
shaped you, your social and cultural context, and the questions of identity, meaning, and values that
matter to you.
Â
When relationship concerns are part of what brings you to therapy, we can gently explore patterns of
communication, conflict, trust, emotional needs, boundaries, and disconnection. Whether you are
trying to understand recurring difficulties in a relationship, work through the impact of a breakup or
marital discord, or rebuild a more secure and meaningful connection, the aim is to create greater clarityand understanding rather than simply assigning blame. The pace and focus of therapy can change depending on what you need at each stage. My goal is to help you understand yourself more fully—your patterns as well as your strengths—so you can make clearer, more intentional choices about how you want to live and relate to others.
Concerns I can help with
- Anxiety, overthinking and stress, feeling stuck or disconnected
- Overthinking, difficulty with attention and focus
- Self-criticism, low self-esteem, body-image concerns, or difficulties around eating patterns.
- Difficulty setting boundaries, communicating your needs, managing conflict, or navigating trust issues.
- Relationship difficulties, recurring patterns of conflict or disconnection, breakup-related distress, or marital discord.
- Unresolved trauma or past experiences that continue to affect your present life and relationships.
- Addiction or compulsive behaviours (OCD)

I Specialise in
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), developed by Dr. Marsha M. Linehan, is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. DBT combines acceptance with meaningful change, teaching practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. It is particularly effective for people experiencing emotional dysregulation, self-harm urges, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic stress. By learning these evidence-based skills, clients build resilience, respond more effectively to life’s challenges, and create a more balanced, fulfilling, and emotionally stable life.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), developed by Dr. Steven C. Hayes, helps people build psychological flexibility by changing how they relate to difficult thoughts and emotions. Instead of struggling to eliminate discomfort, ACT encourages acceptance, mindfulness, and actions guided by your personal values. This approach helps reduce avoidance, overthinking, and self-criticism while creating a richer, more meaningful life. ACT is widely used for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, chronic pain, perfectionism, and navigating life transitions with greater resilience and purpose.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), developed by Dr. Aaron T. Beck, is one of the most researched and effective psychotherapy approaches. It is based on the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence one another. CBT helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. Through practical tools and structured exercises, clients learn lifelong coping skills that improve emotional wellbeing. CBT is highly effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, stress, and low self-esteem.
